DeNDRoN provides health service infrastructure to support clinical research. We increase collaborative working between doctors, academics, clinicians, patients, carers and organisations funding research.

North East DeNDRoN gives assistance for well-designed clinical studies for diagnosis, management, treatment or prevention, for all dementias and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, and Huntington’s disease. All types of studies are supported, including randomised double-blind cross-over trials, imaging studies, observational studies, physiotherapy and occupational therapy trials, and prospective studies over time.
