DeNDRoN provides support for clinical research in the NHS. DeNDRoN aims to increase collaborative working between academics, clinicians, patients, carers and organisations funding research. This website is intended for clinicians, researchers, patients, carers and the public working in the field of, or affected by, dementias or neurodegenerative diseases.

North East DeNDRoN gives assistance for well-designed clinical studies for prevention, diagnosis or treatment for all dementias and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, and Huntington’s disease. All types of studies are supported, including randomised double-blind cross-over trials, imaging studies, observational studies, physiotherapy and occupational therapy trials, and prospective studies over time.
